A junior college uses the same screens as a school. The preset is Junior college. Standards 11 and 12 and their streams are set under Academics. Follow Getting started: a school for the common steps, and add these.
What is different
- Institute > Institution profile. Choose the Junior college preset. It uses school words (Standard, Division, Student). Features such as seats and quotas are off unless you switch them on.
- Institute > State and board. Choose your state and the higher secondary board. Apply its grading. A junior college grading scheme is available under Exams > Grading.
- Academics > Standards. Add Std 11 and Std 12 and give each a Stream (for example Science, Commerce, Arts). Streams and board classes drive subject offerings and exam eligibility.
- Academics > Subjects. Add the subjects and offer them to each standard in the Offerings by standard tab. Optional subjects work through offerings.
- Academics > Divisions. Make divisions with class teachers and capacity. Use Allot divisions for new admissions. Promote students to the next class
- Students. Admit or import students with their stream and previous exam details. Keep the documents list up to date under Documents pending.
- Fees. Make fee structures per standard and stream. Check the fee law for your state. Fee structures and invoices
- Exams. Set the grading and the exam list. Publish results and print report cards. Publish results and print report cards
- Government forms. UDISE+ readiness has a stream field for higher secondary. UDISE+ readiness
