This policy explains what information SunRuby Technologies ("SunRuby", "we") collects through the website sunruby.in, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the choices you have. We have kept it short and plain on purpose.
What this policy covers
It covers this website and the "Book a free demo" form. It does not cover the data that institutions and businesses store in SunRuby's products. That data belongs to our customers and is handled under the agreement we sign with each of them.
What we collect through the demo form
- Your name, phone number and email address (at least one of phone or email);
- The name of your institution or company;
- If you choose to tell us: your role, the type of institution, the number of students, your city and state, your preferred language, the modules you are interested in, and your message;
- The fact that you gave consent, and when;
- The language version of the website you used.
Please do not send us details of students, staff or parents through the form.
What we collect automatically
- To protect the form from spam, we work out a one-way, salted code from your IP address and keep it for up to 24 hours to limit how many requests can be sent. We do not store your IP address with your enquiry.
- Like most websites, our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) for security and troubleshooting. These logs are deleted on a rolling basis, normally within 30 days.
The website does not use cookies for tracking, advertising or analytics, and it does not use third-party trackers. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers to fetch them.
Why we use your information
- To contact you about the demo you asked for and to answer your questions;
- To prepare a demo that fits your institution;
- To keep a record of enquiries so that we can follow up properly.
We use your information on the basis of the consent you give when you send the form. We will not send you marketing messages unless you ask for them, and we never sell or rent your information.
Who can see it
Only our team members who handle enquiries. We use service providers to run the website and to deliver email (our hosting provider and our email provider). They process the information only on our instructions. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, and then delete them, unless you become a customer (in which case our agreement with your organisation applies) or the law requires us to keep them longer.
How we protect it
The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Enquiries are stored on our server outside the public website folder, and only authorised people can read them.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct or update it, or to delete it. You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it. You may also nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you are unable to. Write to info@sunruby.in and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children
The demo form is meant for adults who represent an institution or a business. It is not meant for children.
