Period-wise attendance is for institutions where each subject teacher marks who is in class. It needs a published timetable and a setting that is switched on.
Switch it on
Only a person who may change settings can do this.
- Open Institute > Settings and find the Attendance card.
- In Attendance mode choose Daily and every period. The class teacher still takes the daily register. Subject teachers also take each period.
- Press Save.
If the mode is Daily only, the page Attendance > Period-wise attendance says that period attendance is switched off. If you may change settings it shows a button Open Institute settings. If not, ask your administrator.
Mark a period
- Open Attendance > Period-wise attendance.
- A teacher sees their own periods for the day. The office picks a Division and a Date.
- Choose the period from the tabs.
- Mark each student. Press Mark the rest present to mark everyone you have not touched. The count of students not marked is shown.
- Press Save. A message shows the period name, the number of students and the date.
You cannot pick a future date.
