Open Hostel > Overview. The title is the name of the hostel. Under it you see the curfew time and the roll call time.
The four counts
- In the hostel: residents who are in, out of the total.
- Out with a pass: residents marked out at the gate.
- On leave: leave approved but the resident has not gone out yet.
- Overdue: residents past their return time. The tile turns red when it is more than 0.
The panels
- Gate passes to approve: for the warden. It lists passes waiting for a decision with Approve and Reject. For the gate it is called Ready to go out and has Mark out at gate. All passes opens the full list. See Gate pass for hostel residents.
- Occupancy: occupied, vacant and blocked beds. Allocations opens the allocation list.
- Roll call: how many blocks are closed tonight and how many are still open. The button reads Continue roll call, View tonight's roll call or, if none is started, Start roll call. See Hostel night roll call.
- Overdue returns: the residents who have not come back, with the block, bed and when the pass was due.
- Open complaints: the newest open ones. Board opens Hostel complaints and incidents.
- Visitors today: how many came and how many are still inside. Register opens Hostel visitors register.
Which panels you see depends on your role. The gate sees passes ready to go out, not those to approve.
Common questions
"Everyone is back" but a count shows overdue.
The counts refresh as you work. Reload the page. A pass is overdue until the resident is checked back in.
