The gateway pays out to your bank in batches called settlements, usually a day or two after the payment. Fees > Online reconciliation helps you check that every rupee arrived.
Steps
- Open Fees > Online reconciliation.
- Read Received, not yet settled. This is money received online that the gateway has not paid out yet.
- Press Import now to read the latest settlements from the gateway. A message says how many were read.
- Open Findings. It says "Everything adds up" or lists problems, for example Settlement lines that match no payment.
- Open a settlement under Settlements. You see its date, the UTR, the amount, the gateway fees and the lines. Lines that match nothing are marked.
- When the amount is in your bank statement, press Seen in the bank, add a note and confirm. The settlement shows Confirmed with your name and the time.
Good to know
- Totals either Add up or Do not add up. Do not confirm one that does not add up. Ask your SunRuby contact.
- Gateway fees are shown for each settlement.
- If the institution keeps books in SunRuby, the online money is posted to a clearing account. See Bank reconciliation.

It may belong to another institution that shares the account, or a payment that was not noticed. Open the line and check the gateway reference.
