SunRuby does not send anything to a government portal. It prepares a file for you to check and upload yourself.
Open Students > Government exports. A notice says: check the template first. The official upload templates change often. Compare the column order of the file with the current template before you submit it.
Download a Saral or UDISE+ file
- Choose the Export type: Saral or UDISE+.
- Choose the Academic year.
- Choose the Format: Excel (.xlsx) or CSV.
- Narrow it by standard or division if you want, or leave All standards and All divisions.
- Read Check before you export: the number of active students in that year and counts such as RTE, CWSN, BPL, minority, no Aadhaar and no PEN. If it says no students were enrolled in the year, choose another academic year.
- Press Download Saral file or Download UDISE+ file.

Aadhaar numbers
Aadhaar numbers are masked in your file. Only the institution admin or the super admin can tick Include full Aadhaar numbers. If you do, keep the file safe, share it only with the authority that needs it and delete it afterwards. Each download is logged.
ITI: NCVT list and SIDH
In an ITI (the NCVT feature is switched on in the institution profile) a second card appears: NCVT trainee list.
- Choose the Programme and Batch, or all.
- Press Download NCVT list (CSV).
It is a working export for your own use. It is not the template of the national portal, so compare the columns before you upload it.
The Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH) trainee sheet is produced by the SunRuby server from the ITI export pack. This screen has no SIDH button yet. Ask SunRuby support to run it for you.
Common questions
I do not see the NCVT card.
It shows only for an ITI. The institution profile must have the ITI features on. See Choose the state and board, and switch on features.
The file has fewer rows than I expect.
Check the academic year and the standard. The export includes only active students enrolled in that year.
