Open Fees > Accounts overview. It greets you by name and shows the institution you are in. Each panel says as of when its numbers are.
The panels
- Needs action: tiles for the things to do today, for example cheques in clearing with their amount and how many days the oldest has waited, and refunds. Press View list on a tile to go to the records.
- Dues by age: the current year's balance split by how many days past the due date. It also shows what is not due yet and the arrears from earlier years.
- Overdue by class (in an ITI, by programme): which classes owe most.
- Cheques in clearing: cheques that are not cleared yet, with mode, number, bank and date. Here you can clear or bounce a cheque.
- Bounced cheques: a bounced cheque is not counted as paid.
- Refunds paid, last 30 days: the refunds made, with date, mode and reference. A refund at leaving a hostel is marked "Settlement at leaving".
- Reminders sent: how many fee reminders were delivered, failed or are waiting.
If a panel says "No data yet", nothing has been recorded for it. The reason is shown under it.
What to do next
- To see names of those who owe, use See who has not paid and send reminders.
- To take a payment, see Collect a fee and issue a receipt.
- For online payments and gateway payouts, see Online payment reconciliation.
