Open Academics > Syllabus. Choose the Standard and the Subject at the top. The page shows how much of the syllabus is covered, for example "12 of 20 chapters completed".
The subject must already be offered to the standard. If you see "No subjects offered", see Classes, divisions and subjects.
Chapters tab
- Press Add chapter. Type the Title. Add a Planned start and Planned end if you want.
- The chapter takes the next number in the teaching order.
- As you finish a chapter, change its Status in the table. When you choose Completed, today's date is saved as the completed date.
- The Syllabus covered bar shows the percentage of chapters completed.
Lesson plans tab
- Press New lesson plan.
- Choose the division and teacher, the Date and the Chapter. A plan need not be tied to a chapter.
- Write the Objectives, Activities and Homework. Press Save plan.
The button is off until a teacher is assigned to this subject in a division of the standard.
Who can do what
A teacher works on the standards of their own classes. The office and the principal see every standard. You need the permission to edit chapters to add or change them. Others can only read.
Common questions
